Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh to Barkot (180 km / 7-8 hrs)

  • Start your sacred Char Dham Yatra from Haridwar or Rishikesh in the morning and drive to Barkot.
  • En route, enjoy the scenic beauty of Mussoorie and visit the famous Kempty Falls.
  • Arrive at Barkot in the evening, check into your hotel, and rest to prepare for tomorrow's trek.

Day 2: Barkot ➔ Janki Chatti ➔ Yamunotri Dham ➔ Barkot

  • Early morning drive to Janki Chatti (45 km) around 5:00 AM.
  • Start the 6 km uphill trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri Temple.
  • Take a holy dip in Surya Kund, offer prayers at the temple, and trek back down to Janki Chatti. Return to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (90 km / 4 hrs)

  • In the morning, drive along the banks of the beautiful Bhagirathi River towards Uttarkashi town.
  • In the afternoon, reach Uttarkashi and visit the famous ancient Baba Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple.
  • Spend your evening relaxing by the river bank and getting acclimated to the high-altitude weather.

Day 4: Uttarkashi ➔ Gangotri Dham ➔ Uttarkashi

  • Morning drive to Gangotri Dham via the scenic Harsil Valley, famous for its apple orchards and breathtaking landscapes.
  • Arrive at Gangotri Dham, take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River, and attend the temple darshan.
  • Drive back to Uttarkashi in the evening and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Sonprayag (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

  • Start a long scenic drive in the morning via Lambgaon and Tilwara to enter the gorgeous Mandakini River valley.
  • Check into your hotel or camp near Guptkashi or Sonprayag upon arrival.
  • Complete your mandatory biometric registration verification at Sonprayag for the upcoming Kedarnath trek.

Day 6: Sonprayag ➔ Gaurikund ➔ Kedarnath Dham (16 km Trek)

  • Take the local sharing shuttle from Sonprayag at 5:00 AM to reach Gaurikund.
  • Begin the 16 km uphill mountain trek to the sacred Baba Kedarnath Temple.
  • Reach Kedarnath base camp by evening, check into your GMVN camp/guesthouse, and attend the soul-stirring evening Aarti at the temple.

Day 7: Kedarnath Temple ➔ Trek down to Gaurikund ➔ Guptkashi

  • Wake up early morning to line up for the divine Darshan inside the sanctum sanctorum of Kedarnath Temple.
  • After prayers, start your downhill trek back to Gaurikund.
  • Take the shuttle back to Sonprayag and drive to your hotel in Guptkashi or Rudraprayag to relax.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath Dham (165 km / 7 hrs)

  • Morning drive towards Badrinath Dham via Joshimath and Vishnuprayag.
  • Check into your hotel at Badrinath and take a refreshing bath in the natural thermal springs of Tapt Kund.
  • Visit the beautiful Badrinath Temple for the magnificent evening prayers and lighting ceremony.

Day 9: Badrinath ➔ Mana Village ➔ Pipalkoti / Joshimath

  • Attend the morning Darshan at Badrinath Temple, then head to explore Mana Village (The Last Indian Village near the Tibet border).
  • Visit the historic Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the unique Bhim Pul built over the Saraswati River.
  • In the afternoon, begin your return journey down the mountains and stay overnight at Pipalkoti or Joshimath.
